The 836-A1E switch is a pressure control switch that has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. In different applications where the approach is 0 PSI, a controller with an adjustable range that goes into a vacuum needs to be selected. The switch also operates with an adjustable differential of 2 to 20 PSI These are approximate mid-range values. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 836-A1E pressure control switch operates with a maximum PSI rating of 160 PSI for the line pressure and 160 PSI for the occasional surge pressure. The enclosure type of this device is a Type 7 & 9 and Type 4 & 13 combined metallic enclosure that is made of aluminum. This enclosure type has been intended for an environment where there are traces of hazardous gas and dust. The enclosure includes a special gasket and a 0-ring seal to keep out moisture, fluids, and different kinds of particles.
