The Allen-Bradley 836-C10JX15A controller is an electromechanical pressure control designed for controlling and monitoring the operating conditions for hydraulic or pneumatic applications. Bulletin 836 controls can help to protect equipment and safeguard the operators. The Bulletin 836 pressure controls are used for the control and detection of pressure in industrial applications and to open or close circuits in response to changes in that pressure. They use stainless steel bellows or copper alloy bellows. Allen-Bradley offers 3 types of Bulletin 836 pressure controls which differ in the compatibility of the actuator to media types, pressure connections, pressure ranges, and enclosure types. The operating range for the pressure controls is from -30 to 66 degrees Celsius.

The 836-C10JX15A controller is a Style C device.  It uses external copper alloy bellows. The enclosure of the 836-C10JX15A controller is a NEMA Type 4 and 13 enclosure and it is made of aluminum. The 836-C10JX15A controller comes with an external manual reset contact block. One contact on the device is normally closed. This contact opens at startup and remains open until the system returns to the normal run condition, at which time the contact can be reset manually. A second contact on the device closes at the opening of the first contact. The pressure range of the 836-C10JX15A controller is 50 to 500 PSI. The adjustable differential pressure rating for the device is 12 PSI. The maximum line pressure which the device can sustain is 1300 PSI. A pilot light is not available on the device. The 836-C10JX15A controller supports a standard trip/reset feature. The 836-C10JX15A controller is not designed for use in hazardous locations.
