The 836-C11A controller is an Allen-Bradley Bulletin 836 pressure control device. It is used for the activation of electrical circuits depending upon measured pressure levels. The pressure rating of the 836-C11A controller is 650 PSI. Type C pressure controls with external copper alloy bellows such as the 836-C11A controller can have pressure ratings ranging from 30 to 900 PSI. The Bulletin 836 series also includes 2 other types of pressure controls which are Type A with internal bellows and Type C with external stainless steel bellows. The adjustable pressure range for Type A pressure controls is 30 to 375 PSI and the pressure range for Type C pressure controls with external steel bellows is 30 to 375 PSI. The 3 different types of pressure controls which make up the Bulletin 836 series also have different maximum pressure thresholds.
