The Allen-Bradley 836-C12 Pressure Controller is a Style C pressure control device from the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 836 temperature and pressure control units. The standard Bulletin 836 pressure control units are designed for general industrial use to detect and control pressure. These pressure controllers are designed for use in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made with copper alloy and stainless steel bellows with overall high-quality internal components that offer longevity even when they are used with air, water, oil, non-corrosive liquids, vapors, gases, and with some corrosive liquids and gases. The 836-C12 Pressure Controller is a Style C device with external copper alloy bellows and independently adjustable differential and operation pressure ranges.

The 836-C12 Pressure Controller has an adjustable differential range from 25 to 115 PSI, and an adjustable operation pressure range from 200 mmHg Vacuum to 900 PSI. The 836-C12 Pressure Controller also has an adjustable maximum line pressure setting of up to 1300 PSI and an occasional surge pressure value of up to 1600 PSI. It has a quarter-inch N.P.T.F. female external pipe connector for standard pressure connections. The external features of the 836-C12 Pressure Controller includes a front-panel nameplate with pressure and electrical rating information, a rear mounting bracket for easy installation, a front differential adjustment screw, an operating adjustment screw, a trip indicating scale, a differential CAM, a contact block, and an external bellows connector. The 836-C12 Pressure Controller comes with standard single-pole, double-throw contacts with a snap-action mechanism. This contact has an inductive current rating of 5 Amps at 240 Volts AC and 3 Amps at 600 Volts AC.
