It is designed for use in both pneumatic and hydraulic operations where water, oil, air, vapors, gases, and some corrosive substances are involved. It is compact and made with industry-grade parts that support long-lasting operation in extreme industrial conditions. The 836-C12S Pressure Controller features external bellows made from copper alloy with quarter-inch N.P.T.F. Internal Pipe Thread pressure connectors and adjustable pressure trip settings. The copper alloy bellows makes the 836-C12S Pressure Controller suitable for use with any industrial compounds that are not corrosive to copper alloy.
The 836-C12S Pressure Controller has an operating trip range that is adjustable from 200 Millimeters of Mercury to 900 PSI. It also has a user-selectable differential trip setting that is adjustable to up to 115 PSI. The 836-C12S Pressure Controller supports up to 1300 PSI of line pressure and up to 1600 PSI of occasional surge pressure. The 836-C12S Pressure Controller’s trip rating is set by turning the operating pressure range adjustment screw on the front panel clockwise or counterclockwise to lower or raise the trip pressure setting and the approximate trip setting is indicated on the “trip indicating scale”. The 836-C12S Pressure Controller has a NEMA Type 4X enclosure design and it comes with single-pole, snap-action contacts that are double-throw contacts with 5.0 Amps of non-inductive current rating at 240 Volts AC and with 24 Volts AC to 600 Volts AC control voltage ratings.
