The Allen-Bradley 836-C12X15A Pressure Controller is an electromechanical pressure monitoring and control device from the Bulletin 836 Pressure Controls series. The Bulletin 836 devices are designed to control or monitor the operating conditions of a wide range of pneumatic or hydraulic applications. The 836-C12X15A Pressure Controller features a compact design and high-quality components that provides long-lasting operation in most normal and extreme industrial conditions. The 836-C12X15A Pressure Controller has external copper bellows with a quarter-inch N.P.T.F. female internal pipe thread as standard pressure connector. It also has adjustable pressure trip and reset trip settings. The 836-C12X15A Pressure Controller has an adjustable differential trip setting, which can be adjusted from 25 to 115 PSI. It also had an adjustable operating range from 200 Inches of Mercury to 900 PSI. The 836-C12X15A Pressure Controller has up to 1300 PSI of maximum line pressure and an occasional pressure surge rating up to 1600 PSI.

 

On the front panel of the Allen-Bradley 836 Pressure Controls series 836-C12X15A Pressure Controller are the differential pressure adjustment screw and the operating pressure range adjustment screw. The trip setting can be adjusted by turning the operating pressure range adjustment screw either clockwise or counterclockwise to raise or lower the trip setting. The reset setting can be changed by adjusting the differential adjustment screw either clockwise or counterclockwise to raise or lower the differential pressure rating. The 836-C12X15A Pressure Controller comes with a modified single-pole, double-throw contact with 2 normally closed contacts. This modified contact has one “Normally Closed” (NC) contact that opens at a rise in the pressure and remains open until the system is restored to a normal condition and a second contact which closes when the first one opens.
