The Allen-Bradley 836-C2E Pressure Controller is a rugged, industrial-grade electromechanical pressure control device from the Bulletin 836 Pressure Controls family. This pressure control device is built to control, detect, and monitor the operating pressure levels of a wide range of pneumatic and hydraulic applications. The 836-C2E Pressure Controller has a front-panel differential adjustment screw that allows for differential adjustment from 0.2 PSI to 6 PSI. It also has an adjustable operating range from 30 inches of mercury to 10 PSI, and a maximum line pressure rating of 65 PSI. The 836-C2E Pressure Controller’s trip setting can be set by turning the front-panel operating pressure range adjustment screw either clockwise or counterclockwise to lower or raise the desired trip setting. The reset trip can be set by turning the differential pressure adjustment screw in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction to lower or raise the desired differential pressure value.
The Allen-Bradley 836-C2E Pressure Controller is supplied with standard single-pole, double-throw switch with precision snap-action contacts. Each contact has a non-inductive current rating of 3.0 Amps or 5.0 Amps at 600 Volts AC and 240 Volts AC, respectively, and the control circuit ratings are 24 to 600 Volts AC or 115 to 230 Volts DC. The 836-C2E Pressure Controller comes with a NEMA Type 7 and 9, 4 and 13 combined metallic enclosure. It has a front-panel nameplate that contains both pressure and electrical ratings information, and trip indicating scales with standard metric and PSI units. The 836-C2E Pressure Controller has a standard repeated accuracy value of 0.5% or better, and for an extended mechanical life for the bellows, it is recommended that contacts operate within 30 to 80% of the full operating range.
