The 836-C3AX171 Pressure Controller, like every device on the Bulletin 836 series, is designed for hydraulics or pneumatic applications such as air compressors, vacuum transfer systems, air monitor systems, and liquid level control applications. The 836-C3AX171 Pressure Controller has external copper alloy bellows and adjustable trip ratings.

The 836-C3AX171 Pressure Controller has an operating pressure range adjustment screw and a differential pressure adjustment screw on the front of the device. The 836-C3AX171 Pressure Controller’s operating range can be adjusted up to 30 PSI, while the differential trio range can be adjusted from 0.4 PSI (minimum) to 6.0 PSIi (maximum). The 836-C3AX171 Pressure Controller has a standard occasional surge pressure rating of 80 PSI and a maximum line pressure rating of 80 PSI. The 836-C3AX171 Pressure Controller comes with modified single-pole, double-throw contacts. These slow-acting contacts do not support snap-action mechanisms, and the contacts close when the pressure rises and when it falls again, with an open circuit between the contact closures at the high and low pressure levels. The 836-C3AX171 Pressure Controller’s contact has a non-inductive current rating of 3 Amps and a control circuit rating of 24 to 250 Volts AC. The 836-C3AX171 Pressure Controller has a NEMA Type 1 design and an operating temperature range of -30 to 66 degrees Celsius.
