The 836-C65E pressure controller is an electromechanical pressure control device that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley as part of the Bulletin 836 Pressure Controls product line. It has been manufactured as a Style C device with external bellows and it has a pressure specification of 65. The bellows are made of stainless steel. This pressure control switch supports the Type 7 & 9 and 4 & 13 enclosure types that are metallic and specifically made of aluminum. The ambient operating temperature range of the 836-C65E pressure control unit is -30 to 66 degrees Celsius, and the ambient non-operating temperature range is from -30 to 93 degrees Celsius. This pressure control device comes with independently adjustable differential pressure and operating pressure ranges as well as with a repeat accuracy of +/- 0.5 percent.
The Allen-Bradley 836-C65E pressure controller comes with an operating pressure range between 35 and 375 PSI and with a differential pressure range between 8 and 80 PSI. For the 836-C65E pressure controller to operate efficiently, the system pressure needs to be connected to the controller through the pressure connection mechanism, and then the system pressure needs to be directly applied to the controller’s bellows. While the pressure rises, the bellows exert force on the mainspring in the controller. The moment the mainspring’s threshold force level is surpassed, the motion is transferred to the contact block, thus causing the contacts to actuate in a process known as the trip setting. While the pressure decreases, the mainspring retracts, thus activating the secondary differential blade spring and returning the contacts to the normal state in a process called the reset setting.
