It is intended as a standalone controller that is able to measure the pressure difference between its sensing inputs, and activating or deactivating a pair of electrical contacts according to predefined adjustments made by the final users. The Allen-Bradley 836T-D452JX19 Electromechanical Differential Pressure Controller operates by sensing 2 independent pressure signals, each of them connected into a separate set of copper alloy bellows designed to isolate the medium being measured (which could be a gas or a liquid) from the measurement mechanism itself.
