It features 2 independent SPDT (Single-Pole Double-Throw) sets of electrical contacts that can be engaged or disengaged when the difference between the pressure signals that the controller receives in its ports reaches a predefined setpoint that is externally adjustable by the final users. The Allen-Bradley 836T-D452JX9 Electromechanical Differential Pressure Controller comes from the factory with a tough, durable metal enclosure which is a Type 1, 4, and 13 enclosure that is intended for heavy-duty industrial use. It can be installed indoors or outdoors, inside a control panel, or as a standalone controller with an individual support. The operating temperature in the operating environment should remain within the range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit), and the relative humidity should stay within the range of 5 to 95% (non-condensing).

 

The Allen-Bradley 836 series 836T-D452JX9 Electromechanical Differential Pressure Controller uses copper alloy bellows to detect the changes in the pressure signals attached to its inputs. The purpose of these bellows is twofold: to provide a means for a high-quality measurement of the pressure values, and to isolate the internal, logical part of the instrument from the pressure-transmitting medium (which can be compressed gas or hydraulic oil) in a safe and effective manner. The Allen-Bradley 836T-D452JX9 Electromechanical Differential Pressure Controller is able to operate with a maximum pressure differential rating of 40 PSI.
