The Allen-Bradley 836T-D453J Electromechanical Differential Pressure Controller is a pneumatic pressure control device from the 836 Pressure Controls series that is specifically designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley for the measurement and control of the pressure differential between the 2 pressure levels at the 2 different pressure inputs on the controller. Once this pressure differential reaches a certain point (known as the setpoint), the instrument will automatically trigger a set of electrical contacts that are SPDT (Single-Pole, Double-Throw) contacts, enabling the connected electrical circuit to perform a control action on the measured variable. The Allen-Bradley 836T-D453J Electromechanical Differential Pressure Controller is able to meet user application demands during a long operating life, because of its heavy-duty construction that includes an oil-tight, metal casing that is able to protect the internal mechanisms of the controller in different kinds of harsh industrial environments.
