The Allen-Bradley 836T-T302E Pressure Controller is a standard pressure control device for applications with traditional industrial machine tools. This device belongs to the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 836 Pressure Controls series of electromechanical pressure condition-sensing switches. The 836 Pressure Controls are designed to detect, control, and monitor the pressure conditions in both pneumatic and hydraulic pressure system applications. The 836T-T302E Pressure Controller, like all Bulletin 836 series devices, is built to meet the standards and industrial requirements of the transportation, machine tool, and other industrial heavy-duty industries and applications. The Allen-Bradley 836T-T302E Pressure Controller is suited for pressure control applications such as compactor ram pressures, machine hydraulic pressures, lubricant and coolant pressures, material clamping fixtures, machine tools, and air compressor applications.

The 836T-T302E Pressure Controller has a standard snap-action 2-circuit contact block and a frictionless electromechanical trip mechanism. This contact block comprises a pair of normally closed contacts and normally open contacts that can be wired for single-pole double-throw operation. The 836T-T302E Pressure Controller is designed to open or close an electrical circuit in response to changes in hydraulic systems that use oil or non-corrosive liquids. The 836T-T302E Pressure Controller’s electrical circuit opens when the pressure exerted on the piston exceeds the threshold trip value, causing the frictionless lever mechanism to trigger an open circuit.  The 836T-T301JX9 Pressure Controller has a maximum switch rating of 600 Volts AC and a maximum continuous current rating of 10 Amps. It has a piston-based actuator made of stainless steel and a 3/8 inches N.P.T. female pipe pressure connection mechanism. The 836T-T302E Pressure Controller has a 120 Volts AC high-intensity neon pilot light that can be wired for ON or OFF operation as an optional factory modification. It has a Type 7 and 9, 4 and 13 enclosure that is suitable for extreme industrial conditions.
