The Allen-Bradley 836T-T302JX40 Pressure Controller for machine tool applications is a solid-state pressure condition-sensing device designed to monitor and control pressure conditions in a system. The 836T-T302JX40 Pressure Controller belongs to the Bulletin 836T product line of condition-sensing switches and it has the T Style design with independently adjustable operating and differential pressure ranges. It is designed for machine tool applications and it can be used to control operation in pneumatic or hydraulic pressure applications. The 836T-T302JX40 Pressure Controller comes with a rugged stainless steel piston assembly and a 3/8 inches N.P.T. female pipe connection as standard pressure connection options. This piston controller comes without a seal on the piston, which offers frictionless control but narrows the differential range, and it has a standard diaphragm assembly which directs the motion of the spring mechanism and also prevents fluid from entering the enclosure.

The 836T-T302JX40 Pressure Controller is compatible with oil, water-based, and non-corrosive hydraulic fluids, and it can be used in industrial applications such as machine tools, machine hydraulic pressures, material clamping fixtures, and lubricant and coolant pressure applications. The 836T-T302JX40 Pressure Controller has an operating pressure range that can be adjusted from 200 to 3000 PSI, while differential pressure range can be adjusted from 125 to 400 PSI. The 836T-T302JX40 Pressure Controller comes with a 4-circuit contact block (2 normally open and 2 normally closed contacts), which is used for configuring the device. The 836T-T302JX40 Pressure Controller’s 4-circuit contact can be configured for either double-pole double-throw operation or separate circuit operation with similar polarity. Each contact has a maximum operating voltage rating of 240 Volts AC and a maximum continuous current rating of 5 Amps. The 836T-T302JX40 Pressure Controller is enclosed in a NEMA Type 1, 4, and 13 rated enclosure which is suitable for industrial use.
