The Allen-Bradley 836T-T352EX26 Electromechanical Pressure Switch is a T-type pressure measurement and control device that has been designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley to be employed in a wide variety of industrial applications. Several types of pressure media can be controlled by the Allen-Bradley 836T-T352EX26 Electromechanical Pressure Switch, including compressed air, natural gas, water, hydraulic fluids, and oil. A pair of electrical contacts are engaged (or disengaged, in the case of normally closed contacts) whenever the pressure media being monitored reaches the user-defined trip setpoint. No human intervention is required because the pressure switch is specifically designed for the automation of the pressure measurement and of the behavior of the whole application system. When the measured pressure returns to the normal reset values configured by the final users, the contacts will simultaneously return to their resting conditions, and the pressure switch will continue monitoring the pressure in the system’s media.
The Allen-Bradley 836T-T352EX26 Electromechanical Pressure Switch is very simple to install and set up, because it only needs a pressure connection and electrical contacts to be wired to the required circuits. The most common input pressure connection sizes are the 1/4 inches and 3/8 inches sizes, both with N.P.T.F. female pipe threads. The Allen-Bradley 836T-T352EX26 Electromechanical Pressure Switch is available with 2 different options for contact blocks, and they are the 2-circuit blocks and the 4-circuit blocks with SPDT electrical contacts. These SPDT electrical contacts will be triggered when the pressure switch registers that the set point pressure is equal to the pressure in its input port. The reset setpoint is also configurable by the final users with a set of adjusting screws and locking nuts according to the instructions provided in the product’s documentation.
