The 836T-T400J controller is an industrial pressure controller. It is designed by Allen-Bradley and it is part of the Bulletin 836T product line. The trip setting for the pressure controller is the operating pressure setting at which the electrical contacts are required to move. The reset setting is the operating pressure setting at which the contacts return to their normal position. The trip setting is reached when hydraulic or pneumatic pressure is applied to the pressure control actuator, which in the case of the 836T-T400J pressure controller is a piston with a seal. The 836T-T400J pressure controller supports independent trip and reset setting options for differential applications. The 836T-T400J pressure controller  is a Style T pressure controller in a NEMA Type 1, 4, and 13 enclosure.
