The product code 852S-NSC is an order reference for a timing relay unit that has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The 852S-NSC timing unit is part of Series G and the 852S Timers product range which offers a variety of timer models that are made for different applications. This timer model offers a wide delay range of 1 to 60 seconds and it is connected to a line voltage of 110 to 120 Volts AC. The unit has a standard line frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz and it provides a current rating of 30 Amps (make) and 3 Amps (break) for a voltage rating of 150 Volts AC. The maximum current rating is 3 Amps.
The 852S-NSC timer is used for CNC systems from the 852S and 9/440 series and it is combined with a variety of parts to form one cohesive unit which can perform at the highest level. The 852S-NSC timer is integrated with systems that are combined with high-performance servo motors which provide an axis feedback resolution of 8192 counts per revolution or 32,768 counts per revolution. When the motor is set to 8192 counts per revolution, the motor has a maximum speed of 3000 RPM. If the motor is set to 32,768 counts per revolution, the motor can perform at a speed of 3000 RPM. The actual final axis speed of the featured servo motor is based on the gearing and lead screw pitch. The resolvers of the 1326 motors can generate velocity feedback and provide commutation of the motor. The resolver feedback can be wired easily through the feedback board of the system module.
