The Allen-Bradley 871D-DW2NP1159-D4 Cylindrical Inductive Proximity Sensor is a self-contained cylindrical positioning sensor that is designed for sensing metal objects without any physical contact with the objects. This solid-state device belongs to the Bulletin 871D cylindrical position sensor family. This sensor family is built for the end-of-stroke detection of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders. The 871D-DW2NP1159-D4 Cylindrical Inductive Proximity Sensor features an innovative design that allows for up to 304 degrees of rotational movement for the sensor without breaking the device’s seal. It also allows for a faster and simpler installation as well as well-ordered cable wiring. The 871D-DW2NP1159-D4 Cylindrical Inductive Proximity Sensor is mounted in the standard in-port cylindrical position with screws and it is sealed with an O-ring washer to withstand a pressure of up to 3,000 PSI.

The 871D-DW2NP1159-D4 Cylindrical Inductive Proximity Sensor has a normally open output contact with a 10 to 30 Volts DC operating voltage and a maximum current load of 200 milliamps.
