The Allen-Bradley 2100-ENET motor control center adapter module is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation in the Centerline 2100 series. The protection systems that this adapter module can accommodate include the E3 or E3 Plus version of the Solid State Overload protection system with firmware revision 5.xx or later and the 825-P Modular Protection System that uses firmware revision 65.xx or later. The Allen-Bradley 2100-ENET adapter module for motor control centers needs to be installed when the power to the motor control center has been disconnected. After the power is disconnected, the adapter module should be connected to the Ethernet network with an Ethernet network, then the motor control center should be connected to the adapter with the DeviceNet cable. The 2100-ENET adapter module can be mounted on a DIN rail or a panel. It comes with panel mounting holes that make the panel mounting process easy. DIN rail mounting requires the use of a DIN rail adapter and 2 flat head screws. The 2100-ENET adapter module operates with 24 Volts DC power and it is a multicast device. The DC+ connector that the power source connects to is on the bottom of the adapter module.
