The 193-EC2DD relay is an E3 Plus relay with an internal ground fault sensor. The current adjustment rating of the relay is from 9 to 45 Amps and the size of the Bulletin 100 contactor on the relay is size C30 to C43. The 193-EC2DD relay belongs to the Bulletin 193 electronic relay product line which are developed by Allen-Bradley for squirrel-cage induction motor protection. The 193-EC2DD relay supports DeviceNet communication and it can act only as a slave device. A handheld DeviceNet configuration terminal (catalog number 193-DNCT) can be used for configuration the 193-EC2DD relay. There are four 24 Volts DC rated inputs on the 193-EC2DD relay and 2 outputs. The relay also supports the PTC thermistor input. Internal ground fault protection in the 1 to 5 Amps current range is also supported on the relay.
The 193-EC2DD relay can be used for single-phase and 3-phase applications. A programming parameter is provided for selecting between single and 3-phase operation. Both modes supports straight-through wiring. The maximum heat dissipation for the 193-EC2DDÂ relay is 4.53 Watts. The rated power consumption is 3.9 Watts. For control circuits, the rated supply voltage is 24 Volts DC which is supplied via DeviceNet and the operating voltage range is 11 to 25 Volts DC. The working temperature range for the 193-EC2DDÂ relay is from -20 to 55 degrees Celsius and the storage/transport temperature range is from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The degree of protection offered by the 193-EC2DDÂ relay is 1P1X. The operating shock and vibration ratings for the relay are 30 G and 3 G, respectively. The weight of the 193-EC2DDÂ relay is approximately 1.77 pounds.
