About 193-EC3HG

The 193-EC3HG relay module is an Allen-Bradley electronic motor protection relay with 4 inputs and 2 output channels. The Allen-Bradley motor starter overload relay features the solid-state relay style and it has an average current rating of 302 Amps maximum. The minimum current is rated at 60 Amps and the overload relay module is classified under the Bulletin 193 product line. The Allen-Bradley overload relay features a contractor size of 100-D210 to 100-D420. The component also features the external 20 milliamps to 5 Amps rated ground fault protection. For communication, the Allen-Bradley overload relay features the DeviceLogix Series B software. The unit features the direct contactor rated 60 to 302 Amps. The 193-EC3HG relay module supports Flash memory. Flash memory is used for facilitating the updating of product Firmware whenever a new version is released.

The 193-EC3HG relay module comes with ground fault protection, which requires the connection of an external core balance current transformer. The use of shielded cable for the PTC thermostat circuit is recommended. This is to assist the device's compliance with the Electromagnetic compatibility requirements. Shielded cable is also recommended for the input circuits. To ensure reliable input signal processing, the manufacturer recommends routing the input wiring in raceways separate from the power cabling. The PTC thermostat cable should be grounded at the E3 Plus overload relay with no connection made to the opposite end.  Note that the 193-EC3HG relay module is suitable for the use on circuits that are capable of delivering not more than the RMS symmetrical Amps as indicated by the manufacturer. The 193-EC3HG relay module is intended for use with the CTs with the secondary current rating of 5 Amps. In the case of improper current transformer selection, this results in inaccurate motor operational data.
