About 193-EC4CB
The Allen Bradley 193-EC4CB E3 Plus electronic current monitor relay is an electronic current monitor relay device belonging to the Bulletin 193-EC4 overload relay series, and it is designed to provide thermal overload protection to connected 3-phase industrial motors. This electronic relay device monitors the motor current through “True RMS Sensing” on each phase and it provides accurate and reliable thermal overload protection via the programming of the motor’s FLA and trip classes. The 193-EC4CB relay also comes with a thermal memory circuit that stores the motor’s thermal profile even when the power supply is removed from the motor, and it has the “thermal warning” capability that alerts the operators in the event of an impending overload trip. Aside from thermal overload protection, the 193-EC4CB relay also provides stall protection, under load protection, jam detection, current imbalance protection, and ground fault protection (via external ground fault sensor input).
The Allen-Bradley 193-EC4CB relay supports applications with up to 600 Volts AC operating voltage, and it offers adjustable trip ratings from 5 to 25 Amps. It has a rated insulation voltage of 690 Volts AC and a maximum impulse strength of 6,000 Volts AC. The 193-EC4CB relay has a 24 Volts AC control circuit with 4 “current-sinking” 24 Volts DC rated inputs and 2 Form A relay outputs. The 193-EC4CB relay supports “Slave Only” DeviceNet communication and DeviceLogix control for enhanced control flexibility. By using the DeviceNet configuration terminal (the Allen-Bradley 193-DNCT terminal) operators can easily upload, store, and download device configurations and DeviceLogix programs into the relay device, and the application parameters can be configured by using the RSNetWorx for DeviceNet (version 3.0 or later).
