The Allen-Bradley 193-EC5CB electronic voltage monitor relay is an electronic relay device designed to monitor and protect machines against current and voltage related issues in single-phase and 3-phase motor applications. It also monitors and protects devices against voltage-related issues like under-voltage, overvoltage, voltage unbalance, phase loss, frequency, and phase rotation situations. The 193-EC5CB relay offers other built-in protection features like power protection, energy metering, 2-speed protection, ground fault protection, stall protection, jam detection, current imbalance protection, thermal warning, and a thermal memory circuit for storing the motor’s thermal profiles.
The 193-EC5CB relay supports both 3-phase and single-phase operations, and the operators can switch between the operation types by using the programming parameters. The 193-EC5CB relay has a UL rated maximum operating voltage rating of 600 Volts AC and an adjustable trip current range of 5 to 25 Amps. It has a rated impulse strength of 6.0 Kilo-Volts AC (KVC) and a UL rated insulation voltage of 690 Volts AC. The 193-EC5CB relay also has the DeviceNet communication capability that allows the users to store, enable, delete, and download device configuration and DeviceLogix programs over the DeviceNet network. The 193-EC5CB relay comes with a fixed screw terminal design and it supports direct mounting.
