The Allen-Bradley 193-EC5HG voltage monitor relay with DeviceLogix capability is an electronic voltage monitor relay belonging to the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 193-EC EC5 voltage monitor relay product line. It is designed to monitor and provide thermal overload protection to 3-phase motors. This device has a built-in DeviceNet communication capability and it supports integration into the Allen-Bradley DeviceLogix control environment for enhanced control and diagnostics. It allows the operators to monitor diagnostics information like the device status, trip status, warning status, history of past trips, hours of operation, and the number of starts over the DeviceNet network. It can also communicate on the high-speed Ethernet/IP network by using the 193-DNENCAT EtherNet/IP communication auxiliary device. Using this feature allows the users to conveniently view and configure application parameters via web pages by using text files and to automatically configure new devices without going through the manual configuration process.

The 193-EC5HG relay supports both single-phase and 3-phase applications, which can be selected easily via a programming parameter within the DeviceLogix environment. This device offers 6 current-sinking (24 Volts DC) input options for connecting to switches (limit switches and float switches), a contactor, and auxiliary contacts. The 193-EC5HG relat also has 2 relay outputs (Form A) with 250 Volts AC rated operating voltage and 5 Amps rated operating current. The 193-EC5HG relay has an operating voltage rating of 600 Volts AC and an adjustable trip range of 60 to 302 Amps. It has an insulation voltage rating of 690 Volts AC and a rated impulse strength of 6,000 Volts AC. The 193-EC5HG relay has built-in diagnostics and protective features that can be configured over the DeviceNet network, and it comes with front panel LED indicators that show device and network statuses.
