The 193-EF2AKB relay is a solid-state overload relay manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the Bulletin 193-EF solid-state overload relay series. This advanced overload relay features an adjustable current range of 20 to 180 Amps with a control voltage of 440 Volts AC, and it supports the pass-thru mounting style. It has no factory modifications for external indication, remote resetting, and automatic resetting. The Allen-Bradley 193-EF2AKB overload relay supports mounting by screw fixing or snap-on fixing to the standard DIN rail. The 193-EF2AKB and 193-EF1A overload relays require the 193-HD device for setting the rated current at a range of 0.5 to 20 Amps. The motor supply cables are looped twice through the current transformer, thus helping to double the rated current.
The Allen-Bradley 193-EF2AKB solid-state overload relay, like other units in the 193 EF MCS Plus overload relays product line, can be manually reset by using a reset button that is designed and intended for resetting all the protection devices. The 193-RB1 module is a remote reset module intended for use in resetting the overload relay remotely from any location. Also, the device supports automatic resetting through an optional feature that resets the thermal overload along with thermistor over-temperature functionalities. All the other protection functions can be reset only by manual means. The 193-EF2AKB solid-state overload relay features a test button for the protection of the thermal overload and it helps with the verification of the thermal tripping operation time and it does not require the motor to be connected. When setting the trip time, press and hold the test button.
