The 193-NREC3ZZ relay is a replacement relay for the solid-state overload relay that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This part has been designed as an accessory and it can be found in the same catalog as the main host product. It is compatible with the 193-EC3 and 592-EC3 electronic overload relays with Frames F, G, and H, and Frames E, F, and G, respectively. This relay comes with the same features as the other standard relays in the same series and these include a trip action that makes the relay close after power is applied if there are no conditions to prevent it. The default state of a relay when it is powered down is open. The Allen-Bradley 193-NREC3ZZ replacement relay offers a high flexibility level by providing the ability to perform control functions with inputs and outputs through other devices and networks such as the DeviceLogix network.

The Allen-Bradley 193-NREC3ZZ replacement relay comes with 4 inputs and 2 outputs that are 24 Volts rated and if required, these inputs and outputs can operate at 120 Volts AC when used alongside the AC input interface module known as the Allen-Bradley 193-EIMD module. The status of all these outputs and inputs can be monitored through the Device Status tool, a tool that is included in the DeviceNet network. There is more than one feature available on the DeviceNet network such as polled I/O messaging, explicit messaging, configuration of the consistency values, and full parameter object support. The Allen-Bradley 193-NREC3ZZ replacement relay needs to be stored in a clean and dry location with a storage temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The voltage rating of the trip relay must not be exceeded under any circumstance. All of the equipment requires ground fault protection.
