This Allen-Bradley H-2005-K-H00AA Brushless Servo Motor is a Low-Inertia Series designator, with a standard flange and a 2000-line optical encoder line count. It runs on a .014 N-m friction torque and a .007 N-m/krpm damping. These 1398 ULTRA Series servo motors come with neodymium-iron-boron, ferrite, high-energy rings as well as high-energy neodymium magnet rotors. These compressed brushless servo motors are specially designed and intended for use with an Allen-Bradley 1398 Motion Control System. They are available in 4 different series which include the F-Series, H-Series, N-Series, and Y-Series. The Allen-Bradley H-2005-K-H00AA Brushless Servo Motor is part of the H-Series that uses a neodymium-iron-boron magnet in providing low inertia as well as high accelerations.

The H-2005-K-H00AA and the entire H-Series are available in 5 frame sizes, and these motors also present a variety of continuous torque capabilities ranging from 0.5 to 50 N-m or 5 to 450 pounds on an inch. They go to up to 6000 RPM in speed. These H-Series motors use the optical 2000-line incremental encoder along with a 5000-line option for super low-speed performance with the ULTRA Series devices. Typical applications for the H-2005-K-H00AA and the H-Series as a whole comprise smart packaging machinery, conveyors, pick-and-place machines, material feeding, and high-duty cycle applications. When installing the voluntary motor shaft seal, there is a need for the motor to meet and adhere to the IP65 requirements of the IEC standards. Other characteristics of the H-Series motors include high acceleration and peak torques, high-speed point-to-point positioning, and heavy-duty construction.
