MDF-SB1153H-QK84B-S

The Allen-Bradley MDF-SB1153H-QK84B-S is a Kinetix 6000M Series Integrated Drive-Motor System. This is a unit with the safe-off feature that contains both the servo drive and motor. The MDF-SB1153H-QK84B-S system operates with 400 Volts AC voltage and it outputs 3500 RPM over a smooth shaft. The motor inside of the system has a 115 millimeters frame size and a 3-inch magnet stack length. Version 20. The MDF-SB1153H-QK84B-S unit can be part of the same industrial automation network as the 400 Volts Class Series B Kinetix 6000 drives and with the 400 Volts Class Kinetix 6200 drives.

The users cannot use the DriveExplore or an HMI to access Kinetix 6000M IDM systems like the Kinetix 6000 and Kinetix 6200 drives, but users can send a stop command from an HMI. If the application consists of several axes that need to be controlled with more than one IDM, the users can establish communication and power to each IDM unit via a daisy chain by using special hybrid cables manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Users can combine up to 16 Kinetix 6000M IDM systems. In the factory, a shaft seal is mounted onto the motor which makes it appropriate for use in the food industry (it is food grade). This shaft seal gives an IP66 rating to the motor, but it must be replaced periodically to maintain this protection rating for the device.
