The Allen-Bradley MPAI-B5450EM32A Electrical Cylinder is a fully-assembled electrical cylinder that has been designed to replace traditional hydraulic actuators. The MPAI-B5450EM32A Electrical Cylinder features a compact and cost-effective design that offers a significantly reduced size but higher thrust force than hydraulic power actuators are capable of. It features servo-controlled operation that allows the users to control thrust force, customize motion profiles, and program smooth startups and soft stops. The MPAI-B5450EM32A Electrical Cylinder uses the same power and feedback cables as the other MP-Series low-inertia servo motors to interface with different machine processes.

The MPAI-B5450EM32A Electrical Cylinder has a built-in multi-turn type of encoder that provides absolute positioning and feedback. The basic device hardware includes a 460 Volts AC rated servo motor, a built-in encoder, a smooth body design, an IP 67 rated standard enclosure, a ball-screw non-rotatable piston rod, a thrust tube covering for piston rod, a zinc-plated threaded rod end, and 4 threaded holes for front mounting.
