The MPF-B430P-SJ72BA by Allen-Bradley is a compact and brushless epoxy coated Premium Permanent Magnet Rotary Servo Motor with a 115-millimeter frame size, ideal for food and beverage grade environments. It is part of the low-inertia Bulletin MPF, MP-Series Food-grade Servo Motors with magnet stack length of 8 inches. It features a single-turn high-resolution encoder and has a 5000 rpm rated speed. It has an oversized IEC metric mounting flange and it comes with standard factory designated options and ships with the right angle, circular DIN, and a 180-degree rotatable enclosure/shaft key/shaft sea connectors.

The MPF-B430P-SJ72BA Food-Grade Servo Motor includes a mounting pilot that is used to properly align the motor on the machine. Stainless steel is the recommended fastener material when mounting this module. These fasteners should be hand-tightened in the motor faceplate, within the ideal torque range. To best protect the connection while cable access is being provided, the circular housing for the DIN connector can be turned to a maximum of a 180 degree fixed position, in either direction. Use an O-ring if using a threaded DIN M4 cable plug. This is not required when using the SpeedTec DIN M7 plug. Refrain from using excessive force when mating motor connector with the cable plug. If they do not go together, check the alignment, realign the surfaces and try again.
