The MPF series Allen-Bradley MPF-B4530K-SJ22BA servo motor is a servo motor designed for food grade industrial applications. The MPF-B4530K-SJ22BA servo motor supports feedback through a 1024 sin/cos absolute single turn encoder. The encoder supports the Hiperface protocol and it provides high-resolution feedback within one turn. The connector for the encoder is a SpeedTec circular DIN connector. This connector also includes a connection for the 400 Volts AC power input to the motor and it can be rotated by 180 degrees. The frame size of the motor is 130 millimeters. The motor magnet stack length is 76.2 millimeters. The rated speed of the MPF-B4530K-SJ22BA servo motor is 4000 RPM. The peak motor speed is also 4000 RPM. The mounting of the motor can be accomplished through an IEC metric flange which is provided for this purpose.

The flange on the Allen-Bradley MPF-B4530K-SJ22BA servo motor includes FF-type free mounting holes. A motor brake is not available on the MPF-B4530K-SJ22BA servo motor. However, a 24 Volts DC brake is available from Allen-Bradley as an optional feature. A positive air-pressure kit is also available as an option.
