The MPL-A1530F-V-X205 servo motor is a low-inertia type of servo motor from the Allen-Bradley MPL Servo Motors series that has combined the features of the Kinetic VP electric cylinders and the MP series servo motors for convenience, efficiency, reliability, and power. This servo motor operates with a low inertia mechanism and it requires a voltage rating of 200 Volts. The Allen-Bradley MPL-A1530F-V-X205 low-inertia motor features a multi-turn high-resolution encoder that helps rotate a ball screw drive that in turn converts the rotary motion into linear movement. This motor does not include a brake, and if any protection features are required, an external protection feature or an external compatible brake can be installed. The Allen-Bradley MPL-A1530F-V-X205 low-inertia motor uses mechanical connections that are known as couplings and pulleys that require a torsionally rigid coupling or a timing belt.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-A1530F-V-X205 low-inertia servo motor comes with a single motor connector, motor mounting bolts, an actuator cylinder, a breather port, a piston rod, and accessories with mounting holes, among other parts. The cylinders of this motor have been designed to provide exact positioning even while it operates at high speeds. This motor comes in a polyethylene foil and cardboard package that needs to be removed before attempting to perform the installation. The approximate weight of this motor is 20 kilograms. It is recommended to ground the Allen-Bradley MPL-A1530F-V-X205 low-inertia servo motor to prevent its operations from being affected by electrical noise. This type of interference can reduce the motor performance and affect all the signals that are being sent to the connected controllers which can affect the system operations as a whole. Some of the recommended protective measures are to isolate the power transformers, avoid routing cables over vent openings, and grounding all the equipment by using a single-point parallel grounding system.
