The MPL-A210V-HJ42AA servo motor is a premium permanent magnet servo motor that has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as a low-inertia servo motor in the MPL series. Its permanent magnet stack is 1 inch long and it uses an encoder that is rated for 2000 lines of data as its feedback device. The MPL-A210V-HJ42AA servo motor is in the 200 Volts voltage class, but it is capable of motor speeds of up to 8000 RPM. It comes with all the standard factory designated options that are available for the MPL series low-inertia servo motors. The shaft of the MPL-A210V-HJ42AA servo motor comes with a cap that protects it during shipping and that needs to be removed before installation. The cap can be removed by hand or with a screwdriver, but not with a hammer or similar blunt tool. Striking the shaft or other parts of the motor during installation or operation can severely damage the motor.
