The Allen-Bradley MPL-A220H-V-X251 MPL series low-inertia servo motor is a brushless AC synchronous servo motor designed for demanding high-performance industrial motion control systems. The MPL-A220H-V-X251 servo motor features a high torque to size ratio for high levels of performance and it also features “Smart Motor Technology” for enhanced motor control and low energy usage. With the onboard motor memory, the existing motor profile is automatically sent to the controller upon start-up, significantly reducing the setup and installation time. The MPL-A220H-V-X251 servo motor is designed to meet the UL and CSA industrial standards. It is also CE certified. The MPL-A220H-V-X251 servo motor has an IP 50 standard ingress protection rating but it is supplied without a shaft key or seal. The MPL-A220H-V-X251 servo motor is compatible with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix and Ultra 3000 series digital servo drives. It is also compatible with the MPAR series electric cylinders.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-A220H-V-X251 MPL series servo motor is rated at 200 Volts AC voltage (230 Volts AC nominal) with a maximum rotor speed of 3500 RPM. It supports a single cable connection for bi-directional communication and feedback wiring. The high-resolution feedback encoder also has an electromechanical design that can function without a battery. The MPL-A220H-V-X251 servo motor has a circular type of SpeedTEC DIN connector for feedback and power connections.
