The MPL-A230P-EJ42AA servo motor is a low-inertia industrial servo motor that is designed with premium permanent magnet technology. It has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley in the MPL Servo Motors series. The MPL-A230P-EJ42AA servo motor is rated for a nominal voltage level of 200 Volts and a speed of 5000 RPM. It has all of the standard factory designated options but no brake and no shaft seal. The permanent magnets inside the MPL-A230P-EJ42AA servo motor are arranged in a 3-inch stack, and this motor is made to fit a 75-millimeter frame when it is installed. It is brushless and compact. Its shaft is protected by a cap that needs to be removed before it is installed. The users can remove the cap with a screwdriver or with their hands, but not with a hammer or other blunt tools which can damage the shaft and the motor.
