The Allen-Bradley MPL-A310F-SK72AA servo motor is a low-inertia, brushless type of servo motor with 230 Volts of rated armature voltage. This MPL series AC rotary servo motor from Allen-Bradley has a small frame size but due to its high torque to size ratio, it can deliver high torque levels regardless of its size. The MPL series low-inertia motors are engineered to meet the demands of high-performance motor systems. The MPL-A310F-SK72AA servo motor is compatible with the majority of Allen-Bradley Kinetix servo drives, including the Kinetix 5700, 5500, 6500, 6000, 300/350, 2000, and 7000 drives. This servo motor uses Allen-Bradley Smart Motor Technology to store the motor identity in the motor's onboard memory. It has a 100-millimeter compact frame size and provides a continuous stall torque of 1.58 N-m and a peak torque of 3.61 N-m. The maximum speed of the motor is 3000 RPM and it provides a power output rating of 460 Watts.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-A310F-SK72AA MPL series servo motor features an absolute single-turn high-performance encoder with the Hiperface protocol. The single-turn encoder on this servo motor provides high-resolution absolute feedback within 1024 sin/cos cycles per revolution. The MPL-A310F-SK72AA servo motor is also equipped with SpeedTec DIN connectors which are rotatable at a right angle to provide high levels of flexibility. The SpeedTec DIN connector on the motor utilizes SpeedTec DIN (M7) cable plugs for both feedback cables and power and brake cables. The MPL-A310F-SK72AA servo motor does not come with a holding brake. Instead, it has a keyless shaft and an optional shaft seal which can be ordered separately. The servo motor has a holding torque of 4.18 N-m and a coil current of 0.45 to 0.55 Amps at 24 Volts DC. It comes with an environmental protection class rating IP 50 without a shaft seal.
