The MPL-A310P-HK72AA Kinetix MPL series rotary servo motor is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is a premium permanent-magnet rotary servo motor with low inertia. It is also a compact motor with a frame size of 100 millimeters and a high motor torque rating of 1.58 N-m of continuous stall torque and 3.61 N-m of peak stall torque. The maximum rated speed of this servo motor is 5000 RPM and its rated output is 0.46 kilowatts. This servo motor also includes incremental encoder feedback. However, the motor lacks an integrated DC brake. This Kinetix MPL series servo motor has a keyless shaft with a prolonged lead time. It does not include a shaft seal, but one can be ordered separately as part of a shaft seal kit. The circular SpeedTec DIN connector on the MPL-A310P-HK72AA servo motor provides the users with limited but useful directional flexibility, with the ability to rotate 180 degrees in either direction.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPL-A310P-HK72AA Kinetix MPL series rotary servo motor is a 200 Volts class motor with a rated voltage of 230 Volts AC. The motor weighs approximately 2.7 kilograms. A mounting flange with IEC standard 7-millimeter mounting holes is provided for mounting the motor. When mounting the motor, enough space has to be allowed around it for proper airflow so that the ambient temperature is well within the motor’s operating temperature range (between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius). The MPL-A310P-HK72AA servo motor comes with SpeedTec DIN power and feedback connectors. When the motor is installed, the housing of the connectors must be facing downwards. The motor comes standard with an IP 50 enclosure protection rating but without a shaft seal. With the optional shaft seal installed, however, the enclosure protection rating increases to IP 66.
