Engineered by Allen-Bradley, the MPL-A320P-MK24AA servo motor is a low-inertia servo motor. The unit features an innovative system size with improved energy efficiency. The MPL-A320P-MK24AA servo motor is designed to ensure lower system costs, and it supports a digital feedback device that provides real-time motor performance. For simplified installation, the unit features a single cable between the motor and the drive. The single-cable design eliminates the hardware and wire terminations. It comes with the purely digital 2-wire communication system that is integrated into the motor power cable system. It is designed to ensure high reliability and it ensures a high level of production. For smooth performance, the Allen-Bradley servo motors come with up to 260,000 counts per revolution. With the multi-turn encoder, the MPL-A320P-MK24AA servo motor provides high-resolution absolute feedback.

The MPL-A320P-MK24AA brushless AC synchronous servo motor is a UL recognized servo motor that features components that meet the CSA certification standards. It is compatible with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 5500 servo drives in typical application areas that include packaging, converting, material handling, electronic assembly, automotive, and metal forming applications. The Allen-Bradley servo motor features a circular bayonet facing the shaft as a connector. It comes with a 24 Volts DC brake and it features an IEC metric mounting flange with standard factory-designated control options. Failure to observe the manufacturer’s safety procedure guidelines results in damage to the motor and the other motor components. The keyed connectors should be aligned properly and hand-tightened. If excess force is needed to fully join the connectors, then the servo motor likely has improper connector alignment. Note that O-rings are needed on the motor connectors when installing the threaded DIN style cable connectors.
