The MPL-A320P-SK24AA servo motor is a low-inertia servo motor designed and it is manufactured by Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The motor features a 24 Volts DC brake.  The MPL-A320P-SK24AA servo motor, like other motors in the Allen-Bradley MPL series that it belongs to, employs the use of the smart motor technology. Also, the motor has a high torque to size ratio and a low rotor inertia level. The MPL-A320P-SK24AA servo motor has an international protection rating of IP 50 when it does not make use of a shaft seal. Note that an IP 50 rating means that the motor is protected against solid objects larger than 1 millimeter in size. An IP 50 rating does not offer protection against liquids.

When the MPL-A320P-SK24AA servo motor makes use of a shaft seal, the international protection rating stands at IP 66. This rating means that the motor is protected against fine dust that can cause the MPL-A320P-SK24AA servo motor to malfunction. Connections to and from the motor are made through bayonet connectors that are 180 degrees rotatable.
