The MPL-A330P-SJ22AA servo motor is a premium permanent-magnet rotary servo motor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Its rated operating speed is 5000 revolutions per minute and its continuous stall torque rating is 4.18 N-m while its peak stall torque rating is 11.1 N-m. It features a single-turn high-resolution encoder and its continuous stall current rating is 12 Amps while its peak stall current is 38 Amps. The winding design of this motor and the compact design of its 100-millimeter frame significantly reduces the motor size and improves the torque performance.

A shaft key and an IEC metric mounting flange come with the MPL-A330P-SJ22AA servo motor. Its high-energy magnets provide outstanding acceleration and the motor is designed for easy installation and startup processes. Its proper alignment is achieved with a mounting pilot that is supplied by the manufacturer and this motor automatically shares its parameters to the connected drives. The MPL-A330P-SJ22AA servo motor has circular bayonet connectors that securely hold the motor power, encoder, and brake cables in place regardless of high shock or vibration levels. All Allen-Bradley low-inertia servo motors, including the MPL-A330P-SJ22AA low-inertia servo motor, can be operated in motion systems where the motor’s shaft has to be connected to a pulley or a coupling. In a pulley system, using reinforced timing prevents the belt from slipping. If the motor’s shaft is connected to the machine with other mechanical devices like a coupling device, then a torsionally rigid coupling is required to prevent the coupling from coming off during operation since this motor offers a highly dynamic performance.
