The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPL-A330P-SK72AA servo motor is a low-inertia servo motor that operates on 200 Volts AC voltage. It can reach a maximum operating speed of 5000 rpm. The MPL-A330P-SK72AA servo motor does not have a brake, a shaft key, or a shaft seal. It is a premium permanent magnet rotary servo motor that uses powerful rare earth magnets and it has a magnetic stack length of 3 inches. The MPL-A330P-SK72AA servo motor is protected by a 100-millimeter frame. It comes outfitted with several standard features for standard applications. This servo motor can be mounted with help from its IEC metric mounting flange.

When installing the Allen-Bradley MPL-A330P-SK72AA servo motor, it is important to follow all of the manufacturer’s instructions and guidelines for making proper cable connections. Keep the cable lengths as short as possible, route all of the wiring that is sensitive to electrical noise away from the motor power wiring and the input power wiring, separate all of the cables by at least 1 foot for every 30 feet of parallel cable run length, and ground both ends of the encoder cable shields. Proper cable connections will extend the MPL-A330P-SK72AA servo motor’s operating life and improve its EMC or electromagnetic capability. Improper cable connections can cause the servo motor to malfunction, damage it, or injure the users. Allen-Bradley also recommends that the users of the MPL-A330P-SK72AA servo motor install all of the AC input voltage lines with filters to reduce electromagnetic interference that could damage the servo motor.
