The Allen-Bradley MPL-A330P-SK74AA servo motor is a brushless rotary servo motor with permanent magnet technology. This MPL series servo motor is a 200 Volts class motor with a 5000 RPM rated rotor speed. It comes with an absolute single-turn encoder with the Hiperface protocol for feedback and a circular SpeedTEC DIN connector. It comes with a 24 Volts DC brake option, and a keyless shaft with no shaft seal.

The MPL-A330P-SK74AA servo motor is a permanent magnet rotary servo motor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This MPL series servo motor is a low-inertia auto-synchronizing brushless type of AC motor and part of the 200 Volts voltage class. It comes with a frame size of 100 millimeters. The small size of this servo motor does not affect its high torque capabilities. It is available with an IP 50 rated enclosure by default and this protection rating increases to IP 66 with the use of an optional shaft seal. The MPL-A330P-SK74AA servo motor has a maximum rated rotor speed of 5000 RPM and a maximum rated output power level of 1.8 kilowatts. The 24 Volts DC holding brake in the motor holds the motor shaft at 0 RPM up to the motor’s rated brake holding torque of 4.18 N-m. The main characteristics of the MPL-A330P-SK74AA servo motor include its low-rotor inertia and its improved 230-Volts rated winding that helps to deliver high levels of torque.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-A330P-SK74AA MPL series low-inertia servo motor comes equipped with SpeedTEC connectors for feedback and power/brake cable plugs. The SpeedTEC DIN connectors are designed to be rotated 180 degrees in either direction during installation. However, using excessive force during the rotation of the connector has to be avoided to make sure the connector seal stays intact. The MPL-A330P-SK74AA servo motor comes with a single-turn absolute feedback option with the Hiperface protocol. The motor also comes with a mounting flange and free mounting holes that are IEC compliant. When mounting the motor, it must be ensured that the ambient temperature stays between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius during motor operation.
