The Allen-Bradley MPL-A420F-M-X213 MPL Series electric cylinder replacement servo motor is a low-inertia servo motor that is designed for high-performance motion control systems. The MPL-A420F-M-X213 servo motor features a cost-effective compact design that helps reduce operating costs while delivering high levels of torque and acceleration. It also features improved winding insulation for enhanced heat transfer and thermal management. The MPL-A420F-M-X213 servo motor has a rare earth, high-energy permanent magnet rotor for quick acceleration. It features “smart motor technology” for efficient control, low energy consumption, and lower operation costs. The MPL-A420F-M-X213 servo motor has an onboard motor memory that retains the motor profile and a communication link that automatically reports this profile to a control system when the servo motor is turned on to reduce the commissioning time.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-A420F-M-X213 servo motor features the new SpeedTec rotatable DIN connector that allows for flexible connector rotations of up to 180 degrees. The MPL-A420F-M-X213 servo motor has a rated rotor speed of 3000 RPM and a motor output rating of 2 kilowatts. It has a voltage class rating of 200 Volts AC and a continuous stall current rating of 12.7 Amps with a peak value of 46 Amps.
