The Allen-Bradley MPL-A420P-MJ24AA servo motor is an AC servo motor that is a part of the MP Series of low-inertia servo motors. Allen-Bradley’s engineers developed this servo motor with an innovative design to reduce its size while delivering considerably higher torque than bigger servo motors. The type of motor windings and rare-earth magnets used for the rotor make this servo motor more power-dense than standard servo motors. If it is connected directly to a load, this AC servo motor can rotate with 5000 rpm. It is also possible to increase the torque output of this servo motor by connecting it to a load over the gearbox.
