The MPL-A420P-MK22AA servo motor is an MP series low-inertia servo motor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Its ratings are 230 Volts AC, 12.7 Amps of stall current, 2 kilowatts, 4.74 N-m of stall torque, 0.00026 kg-m2 of rotor inertia, and 5000 revolutions per minute. Its feedback option is a multi-turn high-resolution encoder and the frame size of this motor is 115 millimeters. The MPL-A420P-MK22AA servo motor is designed to provide dynamic performance in different applications where precise torque, accurate positioning, and optimal acceleration are important equipment’s requirements.

As a low-inertia servo motor, the MPL-A420P-MK22AA servo motor is designed with efficiency and productivity in mind. Its rare-earth magnets, state-of-the-art winding design, and compact motor design provide the torque capabilities and rate of acceleration that are required to satisfy the demands of many applications where lower motor sizes are more suitable. It is suitable for use in different industrial environments but a shaft seal of the correct rating must be installed on the motor when it is operated in environments where its shaft will have direct contact with lubricating oil, dust, and other liquids. The circular bayonet connectors on the MPL-A420P-MK22AA low-inertia servo motor allow for a quick and simple installation. This motor also features a mounting pilot to achieve proper alignment when it is being mounted onto the machine.  It supports the use of spring-set brakes and other braking mechanisms that are compatible with motors in the MP servo motors family and it can be used with a user-supplied shaft key of the correct size. To prolong this motor’s lifespan, provide a drip loop in its cables when installing them to carry liquids away from the connectors.
