The Allen-Bradley MPL-A320P-MK72AA magnetic rotor lower inertia servo motor is a brushless AC servo motor from the MPL series of servo motors that is designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern motion control systems. The MPL-A320P-MK72AA servo motor features a premium permanent magnet rotor and a significantly reduced size to provide quicker acceleration, higher torque, and longer-lasting performance than other servo motors. The MPL-A320P-MK72AA servo motor also features smart motor technology through onboard motor memory that retains the motion profile and a built-in communication link that automatically relays the motor identity to a motion control system upon start-up. The MPL-A320P-MK72AA servo motor has a rugged and compact design with a standard IP 50 industrial enclosure. It has an advanced thermal management system with high-grade insulation material for enhanced heat transfers and reduced downtimes.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-A320P-MK72AA MPL series servo motor has an electro-mechanical absolute multi-turn encoder that provides absolute position detection over the course of 4097 turns. These feedback options also support the Hiperface DSL protocol for communication, feedback, and power connections. The MPL-A420P-MK24AA servo motor comes with a standard IP 50 rated enclosure and a factory-supplied shaft key for connecting to moving machine parts. No 24 Volts DC spring-set holding brake is supplied with this servo motor. The MPL-A420P-MK24AA servo motor, like all MPL series servo motors, features the new SpeedTec DIN connector that allows for a flexible connector orientation process. It is a rotatable circular type of DIN connector that allows for connector rotations of up to 180 degrees. The MPL-A420P-MK24AA servo motor has a voltage rating of 200 Volts AC and a rated power output of 1.3 kilowatts. It has a continuous stall current rating of 12.7 Amps and a peak stall current rating of 46 Amps. The MPL-A320P-MK72AA servo motor has a continuous stall torque rating of 3.5 N-m and a peak torque rating of 7.9 N-m.
