This Allen Bradley (AB) MP low inertia high-torque motor comes with a speed rating of 5000 revolutions per minute. It comes w/o braking on the servo motor. Additionally, it has a 2000 lines/revolution encoder on the servo motor. This permanent magnet servo motor comes with a keyed shaft included and can be connected by circular DIN (right angle) connectors that are built onto this AC servo motor. In addition, this MPL Series smart servo comes with voltage class of 200 VAC.

The Allen-Bradley® MP-Series™ Low-Inertia Motor MPL-A430P-HJ72AA is a 230 Volt brushless AC Servo Motor, with a rated output of 2.2 KW, designed to meet the challenging requirements of powerful motion systems with Continuous Duty operating regions rated at a Continuous Stall Torque of 5.99 N-m (or 53 pounds on an inch) and 16.8 A of current. The Intermittent (Limited) Duty region of operation is rated with a Peak Stall Torque of 19.8 N-m (or 175 pounds on an inch) and a peak current of 67.0A. The MPL-A430P-HJ72AA module’s feedback is from a 2000 LPR incremental encoder. It’s suitable for applications like automotive, metal forming, material handling, converting, electronics assembly and packaging. The MPL-A430P-HJ72AA Maximum speed is 5000 RPM at full voltage with no load, and it can work in an ambient temperature range from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
The Allen-Bradley® MPL-A430P-HJ72AA features a Frame Size (IEC 72-1 flange number) of 4, equivalent to 115 millimeters (4.53 inches). It has a bolt circle diameter square mounting flange and its shaft extension is keyed with NO shaft seal. Its environmental protection is rated between IP50 and IP53 according to the mounting direction (up, down, horizontal). However, Shaft seal kits are available, and when installed correctly, yield an IP66 rating. Not that the shaft seal will wear down eventually and should be periodically replaced.
The Power and feedback are made through two circular SpeedTEC® DIN connectors that provide secure, quick, one-quarter turn connections and almost free (180 degrees rotatable) orientation for complete cable routing flexibility.
