MPL-A430P-MJ74AA

The Allen-Bradley MPL-A430P-MJ74AA is a Low Inertia Servo Motor that features an innovative design. It comes with 115-millimeter frame size and has a stack-length of 30 to 76.2 millimeters. This 230-volt motor is available with a multi-turn encoder that gives the user a choice of single-turn or multi-turn high-resolution feedback. The Single-turn encoder offers a high-resolution absolute position feedback within one turn. The multi-turn encoder provides a high-resolution absolute position feedback within 4096 turns. It uses SpeedTEC DIN Connector, and Right Angle 180 degree Rotatable for quick connects.

The MPL-A430P-MJ74AA is a highly-dynamic brushless servo motor that is designed to meet the requirements of high-performance motion systems. It can be used with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 2000, Kinetix 6000, Kinetix 7000 and Ultra 3000 servo drive families.

An improved winding insulation material used in this motor enhances the process of thermal management and heat transfer. It features high-energy magnets that drastically improve the module’s acceleration. This MPL-A430P-MJ74AA motor also provides integral 24-volt brake and keyed shaft extension option.

Before installing the MPL-A430P-MJ74AA motor,  review the guidelines for couplings, pulleys, shaft seals and electrical noise prevention. All mechanical connections between the system and the servo motor shaft must be rigid to achieve an acceptable response from the MPL-A430P-MJ74AA.  When mounting coupling and pulleys, check that the connections are properly aligned. Additionally, all axial and radial loads should be within the specifications of the motor.
