The Allen-Bradley MPL-A4530F-SJ74AA servo motor is a Kinetix and MPL series servo motor. It is a low-inertia type of servo motor. This magnetic AC rotary servo motor comes with 230 Volts-rated windings and high torque ratings. This servo motor has a frame size of 130 millimeters and it provides 8.36 N-m of continuous stall torque and 20.3 N-m of peak stall torque. The MPL-A4530F-SJ74AA servo motor is equipped with “smart motor technology,” which allows for the automatic detection of appropriate motor-to-drive communication options and it is integrated with servo drives to ensure optimum system performance. The rated rotor speed of the motor is 3000 RPM and its rotor magnet stack is 3 inches long. The MPL-A4530F-SJ74AA low-inertia servo motor comes with a standard IP 50 protection rating when the shaft is facing up, with an IP 51 protection rating when the shaft is horizontal, and with an IP 53 protection rating with the shaft facing downwards.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-A4530F-SJ74AA Kinetix MPL series servo motor comes equipped with a SpeedTEC DIN connector which makes the motor connection process easier with its 180 degrees rotatable right-angle head. It also features a single-turn encoder with high-performance feedback. The motor comes with an M23 feedback connector which is standard on all MPL series servo motors, and an M23 power/brake connector. This servo motor comes with a mounting pilot for ensuring proper alignment on the host machine. The mounting pilot includes 100-millimeter bolt circles and 10-millimeter holes for fastening the motor securely in place during installation.  The MPL-A4530F-SJ74AA servo motor comes with a holding brake option which is not standard in all MPL series servo motors. The spring-set holding brake engages when the power to the motor is lost and it holds the motor shaft at 0 RPM. The MPL-A4530F-SJ74AA servo motor requires an ambient temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and a non-corrosive atmosphere to operate properly.
