The MPL-A4530K-SK72AA servo motor is an MPL series servo motor from Allen-Bradley. It is a low inertia servo motor and a brushless type of auto-synchronizing AC rotary motor. The MPL series servo motors like the MPL-A4530K-SK72AA servo motor are manufactured with a compact design with high levels of output torque. This MPL series servo motor has a 130-millimeter frame size and it has 230 Volts-rated motor windings. The MPL-A4530K-SK72AA servo motor has a rated rotor speed output of 4000 RPM and the motor’s rated output power is 2.5 kilowatts. The Hiperface encoder protocol provides motor feedback which is a hybrid of absolute and incremental feedback that is used in newer generation servo motors, like the MPL-A4530K-SK72AA servo motor. This low-inertia permanent magnet servo motor also comes with “smart motor technology” which helps ensure optimal system performance.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-A4530K-SK72AA MPL series Kinetix servo motor is designed to work with Allen-Bradley drives such as the Kinetix 5700, 5500, 5300, 6200, 7000, and PowerFlex 755 series drives. It features a keyless shaft with a threaded hole at the shaft’s end. Other key features of this servo motor include a quarter-turn right-angle DIN connector that can be rotated up to 180 degrees on either side. This rotatable SpeedTEC DIN connector adds flexibility to the servo motor and makes it easy to install. When mounted with the motor shaft facing upwards, the MPL-A4530K-SK72AA servo motor has a standard enclosure protection rating of IP 50, however, an optional shaft seal that can be ordered separately can increase the environmental protection rating to IP 66. The operating temperature range of the MPL-A4530K-SK72AA servo motor is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, and the storage temperature range is -30 to 70 degrees Celsius.
